I am currently an independent consultant working with the World Bank Office in Manila under a short-term consultancy contract. From time to time, I conduct workshops and training on data management and analysis, econometrics, and Stata to various institutions, both private and public. Recently, I also worked with for USAID-Development Alternatives, Inc. Facilitating Public Policy Project and the Asia Foundation and was involved in the second round impact evaluation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, the Philippine conditional cash transfer program. I was formerly Economics Officer in the Economics and Research Department at the Asian Development Bank and Director for Research at the Institute for Development and Econometrics Analysis.
I earned my masters degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines (UP) School of Economics and bachelors degree in Mathematics from the UP Institute of Mathematics.
This blog documents bits and pieces of what I have learned and what I am learning about using Stata to make sense of data and generate useful information.
